Mbuemo is a good player but Man Utd are a total mess, they need much more than him to compete for the title again.
I’m not even sure if they will be able to get CL qualification, they are just so fundamentally broken as a club. They spend hundreds of millions every year or two since Ferguson left and there’s never much to show for it.

I think they signing all these signings might not be able to meet their expectations except they offload some and add more but I won't ignore the fact that these signings are better than that of Eric Ten Hag.
They need a world class manager and a total restructure of all footballing operations to compete again. Is Amorim good enough, I am not convinced.
I don't think Amorim is the issue currently. For me last season is still too early to judge him especially looking at the quality of players available and their consistency were an issue.
I still think he might do better after all he had a better Europa performance than Eric Ten Hag and I think this is a better stat than Eric Ten Hag having better league position or winning a domestic trophy.
