Liverpool really mean business in this summer transfer window, and their goal is simple, they want to dominate the EPL and win it again, they don't want it to be a one-off thing like when Klopp won it and then City won four in a row. Next season would be so competitive and interesting, City have also strengthened their squad, we are waiting on Arsenal to do the same, if the Gunners do not make significant recruitments, i would rule out any chance of them winning the EPL next season and leave it at a two horse race.
I dont want to draw any conclusions before the season starts, I would rather wait and see how the teams approach the beginning of the campaign. I think we will see a slightly different Liverpool this season. They have made some changes in defense at the very least, Salah is not getting any younger, and they are planning to sell Nunez who was actually a good option off the bench. It is hard to say how all this will affect them, but I dont think Liverpool will become stronger because of it. On the other hand, Guardiola is strengthening City well and maybe they will come back even stronger than they were at the end of last season.
