South Africa had a bad start against Zimbabwe and if it were not for the Lhuan-dre Pretorius, they could have been a dire situation but the lower order batting century from Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Corbin Bosch as well as a half century from Dewald Brevis put South Africa in a strong position.
They are 418 for 9 at the end of the first day. They can't hope to play much longer but as they still have Corbin Bosch on the crease, he'd try hitting some quick runs very first in the next day's morning session. They'd probably play till the fall of the wicket as its just the 2nd day.
I don't think Zimbabwe would be able to score anywhere near that total.

It doesn't matter now if the South African team had a bad start because they have recovered well. Making 400+ runs against Zimbabwe is enough, and I won't be surprised if they win by an innings in this match. Unless we see some significant resistance from the Zimbabwe batsmen, I am sure that South African bowlers can out them quickly and also enforce the follow-on, if given a chance. Although only the last pair is batting but Corbin Bosch will want to take most of the strike to get  as many more runs as possible, hurting the Zimbabwe team.
