Addiction can come in any form and by any means, if we failed to properly positioned ourself to how we are trading, not only on trades can we have addiction, this also exist in every other thing we may be doing wrongly from the usual way it is expected to be done, we also have to consider that addiction in trading could come in many forms and also cost us, because we are not going to be addicted only, but also lose more trading fund at the cause.
Addiction is always a result of a lack of understanding. When people choose to approach something solely based on their own understanding, it will always lead to addiction. Addicted traders don't understand trading. While learning trading, lacking knowledge of the effects of greed can lead one to addiction. If traders make learning the first priority, I don’t think it will be easy for people to get addicted to trading after gaining a good understanding of how risky and unpredictable the market is. With an understanding of trading, the only choice one has is to trade accordingly.
Addiction is something that could happen to anyone whether you have the understanding of what you are doing or not. People are addicted to different things as a result of doing one thing consistently without taking a rest. Addiction is not something wrong or bad but sometimes many people get addiction on the basis of doing the wrong thing. I don't see anything wrong with having a trading addiction if the trader is profitable.
