I have always known Italy's Como Team as a modest team that always struggles to stay in the Serie-A league, but I heard in the news that they have allocated a transfer budget of 100 million Euros for next year.
Technical manager Fabregas is trying to build a good team. They want to transfer Morata, but Morata still has an ongoing contract with Galatasaray.
Morata will most likely transfer to Como since Fabregas is in Como.
I doubt they will actually spend 100 million, probably not going to spend that much by the end. But yeah, they do have rich owners, hence why they had easy time promoting a year ago, and they had a decent season at this season too. They have rich enough owners that in a decade they could be fighting for a title. Obviously this depends on how much money the owners keep making, not just from the team, but in general.
If the owner makes 100+ million a year, then he can decide top send 50+ a year on the team, and he would still be getting richer, while the teams value would go up. They will spend a lot, again, and they will do even better. But money isn't everything, remember the richest owner of anyone in the world is Newcastle, they are owned by literally king of Saudi Arabia, dude doesn't own a rich company, dude owns a NATION, and not just any nation, an oil rich wealthy nation, he OWNS that nation, and yet, look at how terrible Newcastle is doing.
