When I looked at the grid, I only see European teams in the quarterfinals. Inter - City, PSG - Bayern, Real - Dortmund. Do you think this is possible? I like how Inter Miami plays, but I doubt very much that they will be able to beat PSG, these guys are very strong now and are in great shape.
There are still some teams that will have an advantage.. take a good look at the table and listings -- Palmeiras has already qualified to play the quarter finals against Chelsea and I'm not trying to be funny, those Brazilian teams are super crazy! They're not just gonna sit there and watch you trash their nets with goals. Palmeiras just like the flamengos are no easy teams. They may not qualify for the rest of the quarter final games, but they'll sure be a pain in the ass to most European teams.
no team is to be underrated no doubt but by the class most of the European teams have shown, they might be the ones that will end up dominating in the quarter finals of the tournament. intern Miami might not be an average team and their play might be good to an extent but they are never a match to PSG neither can palmeras get the victory over Chelsea. the difference in mentality where one sees themselves as the big name that is worthy of playing in the finals and another struggles to get to that spot is going to be the determining factor that ill end up giving most European teams a serious edge above these smaller teams.
