I've never said that forever because forever is a long time but everyone should take a break for even a few days because it clears the head and settles your emotional response improving your chances to win which is what you what ultimately.
It will be a little difficult when we are too used to gambling even though it is not in a fairly intense duration and only do it occasionally but it will be a little difficult to let go of gambling.
I agree more with saying that for a while because indeed something like this is more likely to happen where we need a little time to rest from the gambling that we do but for good I think for me personally I have a little difficulty doing that.
Indeed this is still possible if forced but I realize that I will not do that for now because after all gambling can be an alternative for me to have fun even though it seems like a cliché or a made-up reason but in reality it is like that. Quitting gambling completely requires intention and full encouragement from ourselves and as long as we can't do that then no matter how hard the encouragement from the closest person or specialist help seems to be very difficult.
