Bayern played seriously in that game and won. If they had played seriously against Benfica, I have no doubt that they would have won. Benfica is an unstable team, the same is true for Flamengo. Just look at their performance in the Brazilian league. At least for now, they are doing well in the Brazilian league, but I wonder how long they will continue to do well, while Bayern is strong. It is good to see that the coach is handling international games well.
It was a good match. Flamengo showed that a few adjustments are still needed, they conceded two goals early on, which completely changed the team's approach. But despite the loss, I felt the team is on the right track. They just need to fix some small mistakes and aim for more consistency throughout the season. Gerson, who is on his way out, will be a big loss in the midfield. I’m not sure how Filipe Luís will manage to deal with that.
