I came across a post on reddit yesterday where a gambler is complaining of how gambling has ruined his life, he said he is an addicted gambler who does not know his left and right any more, as everyday of his life, all he thinks about and work for is for gambling and to gamble.
How did he become a gambling addict? He said he started gambling as a newbie and had a few consistent winnings in that early stage, those wins which involved a handsome amount of money was what gave him the impression that it's easier to make money through gambling, he started gambling even more and more until gambling became part of him, not he wants to quit gambling but fighting it extremely difficult to.
Let be realistic with ourselves, those addict have to blame their greed for some reasons and lack of management in their parts, they where never in control of their life before they started gambling, so they blame their misfortune on gambling, but the reality is different, I have come across a lot of such videos on social media and crypto gambling discussion groups but I don't believe them, as a newbie there is no way you can have a consistent winning to the extent that it will get you addicted without blowing up your balance and not being able to gamble again before it slide to addictions.
Well, you assume wrongly bud, it is very possible to have such a winning and I will give you an example...
Lets assume as a newbie, you start playing a slot game with a bankroll of $200, maybe betting $2 or $3 dollar on each spin, and luck hit you in a way that you won let's say between $50k and $100k, winning this amount of money once from gambling is more than enough motivation to get one commited to gambling all the time as a means of winning even more money, and in doing this, the player may still win more as well owning to the fact that the first money won is huge and if well managed, it will take a long time before that money gets exhausted even if he doesn't win again which is not possible and you know it.
