Sometimes many newbies get their gambling life ruined by their first big hit winning, this is what mostly happens to those newbie that will think that he have suddenly developed a strategy to keep hitting such big winning on a consistent basis, this make things a bit tough for them along the way since they come to a point where resistant becomes an issues and at that time they will begin to lose uncontrollably.

That's right, and many sad stories about uncontrollable addiction begin with a big win that happened after a couple of bets. Well, it's a test of personal strength. Because how bad can it be to win a few hundred dollars? But as it turns out - for some it's a disaster.
We need to be able to control ourselfs, and be able to stop. It's better to buy something for an apartment or a house with this money, instead of giving in to greed and continuing to play, losing the entire amount that was given to by luck.

I think not only that but also the fact that when you are winning you want to keep going and greed gets the best out of you. In such situations you can ruin yourself too, I did yesterday trying to win more and more money made me lose it all in the end despite being in big profit before I lost it all. So winning is even more dangerous than losing as it gives you a false sense of confidence that you will keep winning and grow your balance when in fact it will not happen. I don't want to be tragic but the fact is most of the suicides that have happened to gamblers have been after winning a huge jackpot and losing it soon after.
