Well, that's what I think so far. I don't know why Leverkusen management is too brave to take risks when their mainstay players leave the team but instead bring in a coach who just had a bad experience. I admit Ten Hag is not as bad as we think but competing with the bundesliga giants is not an easy task as a coach who has failed before. So I don't know what drove Leverkusen to bring in Ten Hag but I believe there is something we don't know behind the scenes. Hopefully there will be no bad drama like when he was still with Man United.
I assume maybe Leverkusen wants to manage young talents like Dortmund did, Ten Hag has enough experience in developing and finding talented young talents, maybe this is one of the reasons why they work with the Dutch coach but for the competition in the Bundesliga I am also not sure that Ten Hag can do the same thing as Xabi, let's see if Leverkusen next season will be as strong as before or on the contrary they will return to being an ordinary team? for now just give Ten Hag time.

If this is the case then I think Bayer Leverkusen has taken a big risk which I think will affect the performance of the team next season, for a team that won the league last two seasons after many years they are not supposed to let the key players leave the team even though they want to work with young players. They would have kept all their players and start buying young players to build the team together while they gradually part ways with some of the old players after their contract has expired with the team, this would have helped them to remain in shape while they fight for the league title and also build the team with young stars.

Ten Hag will do a nice in building the team but he can't challenge Bayern Munich for the title next season with his current players in his team.
