Many times I have been in situations where I have made a huge loss and regretfully decided to quit gambling forever, but every time I made that decision, I have failed. I made this decision right when I had a big loss, but as the days and weeks passed, the level of regret gradually decreased and I forgot about the past losses and became addicted to gambling again. Gambling is an addiction of the brain that no matter how many times you decide to quit, no benefit will come. You should definitely consult a good and experienced psychologist to quit it. I have tried to get rid of gambling addiction many times on my own but I have failed every time I tried.
It is incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to overcome a strong gambling addiction on your own. I tried to do it on my own, but nothing useful came out of it. It seemed to me at that time that everything was already lost and I had to suffer like this forever. My close people and relatives helped me, they provided amazing support in this process of getting rid of the addiction. In the end, it turned out that I switched my attention only to them. I became more of a family man.

Gambling addiction is not easy to overcome especially when one is committed to the game and fun, you may say it out but trying to overcome it on your own you may end up getting dipper into it. Best decision you took was to involve your family and your loved ones because through them you can get the best help they you need to fight your addiction, if you stay alone you will find it difficult but if they stay with you and keep you company with other things it will only take a matter of time for you to be free and not think about gambling again.
