The survey aligns with several other studies that imply a seismic shift from traditional investments toward Bitcoin’s dominance as a safe-haven asset. For instance, on-chain analytics company CryptoQuant revealed in January that over 60% of cryptocurrency investors are aged between 25 and 44 years old.

“The momentum behind Bitcoin among younger investors is undeniable,” says Green. “They see it as digital gold – borderless, accessible, and aligned with the future.”

They keep mentioning that bitcoin is seen as digital gold by many. But I think a lot of young people being interested in bitcoin is also due to its technology since we know that a lot of youngsters nowadays are quite tech savvy. A lot of young people are now making their own tokens. Are there other reasons for why youngsters are interested in bitcoin now?

This is very good. Because I have noticed that each new wave of the youth generation is simply incredibly different from the previous one. Now it is difficult to think that once there was no Internet, but many of us remember this time very well, and if we were told in childhood that we would pay with cryptocurrency via the Internet, we would not understand a word. And now, from the age of 20, many successfully receive and send cryptocurrency, and I do not know how to surprise this generation. Therefore, it is terribly interesting what will happen next with the popularization of Bitcoin and the future of digital currencies.
