This post isn't as the usual when asked if "Cash out or Not"Huh because this player has already taken his decision by cashing out.
A friend just shared his experience on the just concluded Real Madrid vs Al-Hilal FIFA Club World 2025 World Cup and called his move a smart one.
I believe he must have been following the game live before he could make this successful cashout in the odd time at "90" minutes otherwise I believe in the next second or minute the cashout would had been unavailable.
He said he wasn't concerned about the 3% profit made but glad he recovered his capital because he never saw the disappointment of Real Madrid coming earlier.

Here's the point I want us to discuss; He said he was confident that Real Madrid will win the game because at the time he placed the bet Real Madrid had 1.40 odds with Al-Hilal on 13 odds. So the distance margin convinced him that Real Madrid would win while at last game ended 1:1.
Let me hear from y'all. What's your take on making decisions by team odds without considering their performance records?
I also want us to note that the bookmakers sometimes hide some teams strengths by making them feel like an underdog with higher odds strategies which I believe that caught my guy on trap.

Just think your friend is betting on Real Madrid at 1.40 and he is happy staking huge that they are the favorites, it is safe bet. Finally the game ends 1-1.....ouch. These odds cant guarantee the performance at any means, mate. Bookmakers change them based not just on the strength of the team, but also on where the money is flowing, what public sentiment is bringing, they hide the fact that the underdog may actually be stronger than it is, okay?

And cashing out before ending the match it is a double edged sword I will say. That this is usually a bookmaker's tactic, in the long run you will lose value by cashing out early. So it is good locking in a small guaranteed profit when things go the other way. So yeah it is really tough man.

You guy might have played it smart enough if you cashed out at 90 minutes. however betting on the odds without watching the match live or checking form, injuries, tactics very closely, that is nothing but making regret situation. Even strong favor team like madrid or City often misspend profits by conceding late goals, right?
