What happens to your crypto if something happens to you? Have you really prepared for that?
This is something that’s been on my mind lately ,and I think it’s something many of us in the crypto space avoid talking about.
if anything happens to you without you given access of your private key to your spouse or most trusted one, then definitely all your crypto asset is trapped forever in that wallet. except the key to that wallet is recovered.
We go to great lengths to protect our private keys and seed phrases. Cold wallets, metal backups, multi-sig setups... we lock everything down so no one but us has access. That’s great for security — but what if you suddenly die or fall into a coma? Would your spouse, kids, or family be able to access your crypto?
it has been said repeatedly that we should try as much as possible to shear our seed to at least one person who can have access to our wallet, so should incase there is an emergency that requires Deeping into that investment that person will serve as a third party. we can not completely stay mute without revealing our seed to someone
