We have actually seen many influencers promoting crypto projects without knowing anything about them. Once they are paid there own part of the deal, they go ahead to advertise those projects without really going in-depth to know what the project entails, whether it is a scam project or not. These celebrities easily get people to join in getting those scam projects a lot of investors and when they exit scam, they claim to be innocent and just a promoter of it after being paid.
There is need to look into that aspect also and the government should warn also theses celebrities to be at their own risk if they promote scam projects. They should be penalized for misleading the people that had trust in them. They should always do their own research before bringing up projects to promote in the crypto space because they can lure more people than the project will independently when they advertise their project through their social media handles without including this influencers.
