Chelsea has just a lot of players. I can't even keep up with the number anymore. And they are still continuing to add many more while not many are leaving at the same time. It looks like their finances are still not in a bad condition on the other hand.
Now Joao Pedro is also on his way to Chelsea now for a fee around £50m. A good signing in my opinion but I really wonder how high general happiness level is among the players. The competition is getting harder for them with every signing.
Some of those players are here for business purposes, and not all of them will play in the first team. We are also the most financially healthy club in the league (with €300m to spend on transfers), and the reason we can sign so many players while maintaining a good financial record is because our payments are spread over 7-8 years; we could sign 5 players for as little as €50m upfront and spread the balance later.
I also like J. Pedro; the transfer was quick, he will be available for our next game.
