Personally, when faced with a handicap, I often use over rather than under because I don't mean to discredit it, but sometimes we always feel that over will be more convincing to do than under.

But even so, there are some moments when I also do it under occasionally, but of course by looking at which clubs are competing and seeing their statistics because this is still very useful for some matches that seem random (for me). But for the more serious ones, I clearly prefer to be over, especially when there is a big match or a match that is not too comparable where a giant club plays against a goal barn club, then I will be over for the bets made.

AFAIR, the over has a lower winning percentage compared to the under. I don’t have the exact data to back it up right now, but that’s what I’ve consistently seen mentioned in betting discussions and analysis.
I don't really know about this because I have never read or seen these statistics, but this could be true because I also feel (although sometimes it is more instinctive) that over will still look more promising to do.
