I really don’t know because Chelsea seem to want every player in the market. If I am not mistaken they already have up to 50 players registered in their name both players on loan, not being used and available players and they seem not to be satisfied and keep signing more. I am confused whether or not they are going against financial fair play rules.
Financial Fair Play rule, lol does it even exist? I'm seriously thinking that the rule only applies to small teams because how come these big teams are not being sanctioned by spending too much or is it that they make enough money to cover up for all these expenses? Look at a team like PSG, they don't sell players often and even if they sell, the price is not that big but when they buy, they buy players for huge fee, now how exactly do they balance their sheets when income and expenditure doesn't match.
It does work like we expect it to but it does exist. Everton was sanctioned for breaking FFP rules but Manchester City and Chelsea are still off the hook despite spending so much on players transfers. It seems these big clubs have a very good understanding of all the loopholes in the system and know how to take advantage of them.
Exactly my point, it only exists on small clubs but for big clubs it doesn't, especially these Arab owned clubs. Even Chelsea has been punished for breaking FFP rule but it was a minor punishment. Chelsea were banned from making transfers in two transfer windows, I still remember that vividly. Just two seasons ago, we saw how Everton were deducted points immediately without much protocols as they are currently doing for Manchester City. I have even forgotten how long this Manchester City 115 charge has even lasted.
