Juventus tried. I know that Real Madrid are not in their strongest form and Juve should used that to their opportunity but then It's a lose and leave the tournament stage so Madrid would do anything possible to reach the next round. Atleast Juventus showed their strength they made it tough for Madrid to score and didn't allow the goal pass beyond one after Madrid managed to score in the second half.
i also thought that real madrid could win by more than one goal, but it was unexpected that they could hold real madrid from scoring more goals. even looking at the match statistics, juventus had 42% possession, even though this is still reasonable considering that real madrid did not field their best team, but juventus needs to be given great credit and respect for how they displayed a disciplined game and good defense even against a team like real madrid.
