Definitely! Nigeria has been known for producing good talents in the past and present day but it is unfortunate that we still struggle to dominate Africa when we should be making history on global stages. Only if our government will change and give concern to sports and football, things would be better.
I agree that the government has a role to play in all of the situations around  the nation including that which is supposed to position the country at the global stage bit then nits high time we begin to look at individual efforts,  that's also very vital because as individuals,  we have a role to play in all that we do such that we can even make the effort of the government fruitless if we are not doing  that which we are supposed to do in our little corners.

What are the little things from our little corners that you expect Nigerians to do, whatever that is needed to take care of every athlete in Nigeria has been budgeted for, so at what point do you even need the contributions of Nigerians from little corners, the soul responsibility of every government is to take care of the existing system and not to shift the blame to individuals and citizens, if the government have decided to say they cannot take care of their responsibility then is a different ball game, but they cannot be budgetary allocation to take care of athletes in the country and you shifting grounds, no things are not done like that in any part of the World.
