Juventus performance was not bad in the first half of the game, although they wasted many chances to score. If Real Madrid had the early opportunities as Juventus did, I believe they would convert them into goals. Juventus were lucky to concede just one goal, if it weren't for their goalkeeper, I'm confident Real Madrid would have scored more than one goal with the way they attacked in the second half. The Juventus goalkeeper made 10 saves out of 11 shots on target. To be honest, Juventus played a great game, but their attacking seemed weak in terms of creating goals.
Yes, Juventus played better in the first half but they didn't create more chances than Real Madrid both in the first half and the second half, for chances created it was Real Madrid. Juventus only held more ball possession in the first half. Juventus first chance to score came in the 7th minute after that attack that saw Kolo Muani's chip get past Courtois but missed the post, in the entire match Juventus only managed 2 shots on target as compared to Real Madrid's 11 shots on target.
Playing a good football with out creating chances to score goals is of no use and a waste of efforts by an team because the ultimate goal of football is scoring goals Juventus has lacked a top striker that can do the finishing touches for a long while

To me, I don’t even think Juventus put up any tangible performance in this game. However, in the first half, they tried a bit. The way their performance is going, if they don’t focus more on getting a better striker, I don’t think they will be able to do anything meaningful in the Serie A this coming season. It just seems like they are losing their form.

Take the game they played against Real Madrid as an example, in the whole 90 minutes, they only had two shots on target, not even a goal. Is this supposed to be the Juventus we will be seeing play in the Champions League next season? I hope they improve based on their performance, because it’s getting out of hand.

As for Real Madrid, we hope to see Xavi Alonso take them to the Club World Cup finals..
