Hello everyone,
I’ve been researching Solana (SOL) recently and found that many people praise it for its high speed and low transaction costs. Compared to Ethereum, it seems more efficient in terms of performance and user experience.
However, I’ve also read about the network outages Solana has faced in the past, which makes me a bit cautious. Some say it’s improving, while others think these issues could return during high traffic periods.
As someone who’s new to crypto and looking to hold a few coins for the long term, I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts.
Is Solana still a smart pick for 2025?

Solana as a
currency is lightyears better than Ethereum and most other alts.
Instant tx and confirms is amazing. Instant swaps and no BS.
Now in terms of Investing in Solana, holding Solana, staking Solana, or holding Jupiter Staked SOL are all very promising long term holds. Memecoins made Solana very well known to the public eye.
Do not hold any memecoins, and do not trade any memecoins. You will get burned and farmed by insiders and botters.
If you want to generate passive income with Solana, look into botting instead. I do copytrade botting on Solana which works very well for me.
