When you say using AI for correction of sentences, does this means the use of AI tools for correction of grammatic mistakes. Well with limited use of Grammarly or some other spell checker can be used, but if you just ask such tool to re-format the full sentences for you then that is not allowed as it will regenerate those sentences to AI ones and that would be detected and classified as AI written posts. People need to understand that a few grammar mistake are tolerable provided the sentences are understandable, but the posts formatted completely by Artificial Intelligence tools is discouraged.
Feeding pre-written text into a grammar checker automatically gives the tool free reign to reformat what it deems wrong. The resulting text or sentence is deemed correct - but when someone uses an AI detector and checks the post, it is confirmed to be an AI-generated post. This is what then becomes a debate because actually someone who uses a grammar checker doesn't really want to use AI to post.
Automated posting using AI is definitely not recommended and it is frowned upon - but using AI as a tool is still understandable. Some users may find it bad - but AI is rapidly evolving and this forum does not seem to be a completely anti-AI place, especially when used in certain cases.
