I cannot recall ever coming across this in the years I have been active in the forum. This seems to be something new to me and deserves a look at in greater detail to understand what happened. Losing 2000 BTC to a scammer is not a small issue it is $218,000,000 worth of issues.
When I get time I will try to first find and then go through the relevant threads because if there was a scam where a member lose 2000 BTC it will be interesting to read about how the scammer managed to get the victim to hand over 2000 BTC.

Around 2,000 BTC. See the spreadsheet from the pirate investigation below - look at the amounts he withdrew, compare it to what he paid out and draw your own conclusion. Remember, he has claimed he lost his coin along with everyone else, and he has also claimed he never lost a single satoshi. He also claims he never lies.
