Yeah, although they struggled in the first half but took total domination in the second half and even scored a goal in the process. It would have been more than that but Juventus goalkeeper said no and kept 10 shots on target out from entering the net. I even saw him playing out a 3 man defence in a formation of 3-5-2 if which I think is new to the Real Madrid system, because since I started watching them I have never seen this, which means that every coach as at when I knew the club has been following the traditional 4 man defence but I said something else last night. To me, I believe in innovation and it's going to be a welcome development so long as it's works.
I didn't feel that match at all, it been a long time I watch Real Madrid match and be struggling with my legs, I was reacting to every opportunities loss by the team. Real Madrid had about 11 shorts on target but had one goal for the whole of the 90 minutes and I was just wondering how it would have ended if that game went to the penalty. I don't fully know what this team is capable of doing, that's the worst I don't want see from them now but with their recent performance, it will happen soon.
Xabi need to change this game. Carvahal was quite okay but didn't start and I never know exact reason why refused to start him. Mbape wasn't stared, I still don't know what he was upto. Probably he was trying to be unpredictable but if he tries this style of game in Laliga, the way they are going to concede goal, we might begin to appreciate the times Anceloti has made us happy even in the trying time. There is need for big development with this team before the season start.
