Yeah, what I was trying to communicate is that now the thread just vanishes.
Keeping it open with a warning about if you clicked the link would at least have the possibility of giving some people a warning that they may have been compromised.
Still, ban the OP and everything else, but at least there would be something there that people could see.

I am still trying to understand some things here. If OP is banned and everything is vanished, basically nuked, do we, those who made comments on that specific malware contained post, still get that "Deleted message from Bitcoin Forum"? It never occurred to me, so I don't know what happens when an entire post gets nuked. In that case, the mods could just add a separate message like, the post contained malware hence it was deleted (in the PM notification). This way everyone who engaged can see the warning message! Was I able to explain? As for those who never engaged, it shouldn't concern them.
