When it comes to talent, there is no doubt Nigeria has it, and the talent Nigerian players have is taking them far in football even without good football structures and sponsors like those in European countries. In Africa, Nigeria is supposed to be the center of football if the government were ready to invest and foster better development. I'm well familiar with Nigeria; it is a place where every open space and street is a venue for people to play football. The problem they have is the lack of government support and development in sports, especially in football.
Definitely! Nigeria has been known for producing good talents in the past and present day but it is unfortunate that we still struggle to dominate Africa when we should be making history on global stages. Only if our government will change and give concern to sports and football, things would be better.
from time of memorial Nigeria had always produce quality players, if I'm not mistaking Nigeria is the Brazil of Africa in terms of football, but no good sport structure here in Nigeria, the thing is if you must make it through football here in Nigeria you must know someone who know someone to get there, I have seen lots of players that you will put in any European top team and they will perform real good, but the chance is not there so we will just watch and be like, guy you are supposed to play in Europe but no way, I think the government have to do something about the footballing aspect.
