I make a mistake from looking back at my experience because I see how terrible I am. I feel disappointed, and it makes me feel sick and discouraged from gambling. Yes, it is a mistake because the casino can't get more money from me after discovering my big losses, which makes me slow down and become an occasional gambler.
I believe a change could happen if we track our gambling history. But sad to say, that gambler never takes this seriously. Ignoring the past makes us still see a lot of gamblers in debt.
That's why I think the best answer to gambling problems is to stop gambling. Someone with a long history of gambling should realize that there is no win for the gambler. Only the bookie can get money. If you check your gambling history, maybe someone with high luck can get a 60:40 win with the bookie but the time spent gambling is much more valuable than the amount of the win. Yes, if gambling does not ruin your life then your time will definitely be wasted. Honestly, it is very rare for me to find a wise gambler who can manage his time and money well. Most gamblers around me say they are fed up and desperate because in their 40s they have not achieved anything in their lives.
