Forbes (May 2025) lists him at approximately $381 billion .

So Elon can follow through on his threats to fund a number of candidates, although I'm not sure he could start an entire party with fifty candidates.    He would also have to move all that money silently to avoid deportation.  But Elon doesn't need to win the next election - Trump has less than four years left, while Elon has forty.
