But if a person makes predictions in addition to placing bets, it’s much more likely that they’re genuinely passionate about sports — and that’s the kind of person I’m most interested in.
I doubt someone who doesn't write analytics or an argument to support their prediction belongs to the category, tbh. Do you believe they do, hence why you ask whether people make dry predictions? Are there any stats to back this up, or is this your conjecture?

This is a Telegram-based community where participants can make predictions, analyze events, and collectively rate events through group voting. We haven’t launched yet. We’re currently looking for the first participants. The more people we have, the more accurate the results will be.
Since your goal is to achieve accurate results, are you implying that the goal for the group is to make profits through successful bets? Regardless of how passionate someone about a sport is, I doubt they'd spend their time participating in a group of random strangers without any benefits at all.
