This is definitely a fair deal for any club looking for a right back at the moment or any team playing a right win back pattern with 3 on back, if not that Manchester United have to use their money to sign other players in the attacking line this is one player that suits Amorim pattern, he has perfected the right wing back position perfectly that I don’t think there is any other player currently better there than him. Another team he would have suited is Real Madrid but they have Arnold already. But still even at 29 the €25m fee is still a steal. But I don’t under stand why Inter Milan would want to sell one to their standout players in this critical period of time that they need reinforcements themselves
Getting Dumfries at that amount is definitely a fair deal judging from him recent performance in the champions league. He is a good wing back especially with the kind of formation Manchester United wants to adopt he will be a good fit for them but they currently have made a lot of signings already and have gotten players on that position already. With his age I don't expect him to be worth more than this because he has only had average performances and just last season he showed his worth. Even if Real Madrid has not signed Arnold I don't think they will be willing to sign Dumfries, they are not a team that wants to settle for older players.

Inter Milan might just be waiting for the perfect opportunity to cash out something on their players and maybe they are thinking of parting ways with Dumfries and now looks like the perfect opportunity to get this amount from him.

When Fabrizio broke the news, United was the first club that came to my mind because Amorim's system will perfectly suit him. He's going to be a big boost to the squad, but I don't know if United has need for a right wing back. Also, I was thinking, since Evans and Lindelof have both left, United could still bring him in and use Mazraoui as one of the back three. Dumfries is a player worth signing, his release clause is very cheap, and United does not have enough money at the moment.
Same thing I thought when I saw the news, he would definitely be a good addition for Manchester United and also his price tag is not too high and even at 29 I am sure Manchester United can still get the best of him for about 2-3 seasons or even more.
