Gambling is not the problem but rather getting addicted so I think your choice of subject matter should've been "The solution to gambling addiction" cause when one gambles responsibly they'll avoid getting addicted and enjoy the fun of the game, giving solutions to gambling means you're trying to find a remedy to it, but I don't think it's something that can be stopped, it's become part of human nature cause the majority gambles even though some don't do it very often, gambling have been existing for ages that's why i doubt if it could be stopped globally, we should rather advice people concerning gambling addiction, how to avoid it and give possible solutions to those that couldn't avoid addiction, and not gambling itself cause it's come to stay.
What you said is true there is nothing wrong with gambling but being addicted to it that's precisely were the problem comes in .so many , that is those that are addicted to gambling fails to obey the rules and regulations of gambling.They have place all there hope in gambling, to them is a do all die affairs. So is either they win or they die trying this is what they have placed in there heart. The only solution to gambling addiction is to always stick to the rules of gambling and must have a keen understanding of what gambling is . You're right the problem of gambling lies within the gambler your concept of gambling is very important and can define you as a gambler because when an individual expose himself to excessive gambling the effects of it will be addiction and it will only take alot of therapy and discipline to control it
