I had no idea american drones could be that overpriced.

Should have expected it considering recent market trends.
This is another indication of how production inside USA is extremely expensive. Which is why Trumps tariff war was doomed to fail from the start. Something we have discussed in this board a lot in the past.

But also when war becomes a business and when a handful of weapon manufacturers start dictating policies, prices shoot up to maximize their profitability. Just check out the names of all those who fund the candidates during each election, you will see the names of the same weapons manufacturers. When the arms dealers end up controlling the entire political structure, they can demand any price they want.
