Chelsea, Aston Villa, Barcelona, AS Roma and Lyon has all been fined by UEFA by breaching UEFA financial fair play regulations. Chelsea fined €20 million, Barcelona fined €15 million, Lyon fined €12.5 million, Aston Villa fined €11 million and AS Roma fined €3 million. I wonder how this got to happen but somehow somehow Manchester City escaped and the question on everyone's lips is how?
If you observe from last two seasons when Chelsea get new ownership, they tends to spend a lot of money on signing players because they changed almost all their players, they have more players than most teams because they signed some players while other that went on loan came back they have almost second eleven set of players that can set up another team entirely all because they have money to sign players; I was expecting this for very long time, I wasn’t surprised to see Chelsea been fined, in fact, they are even lucky they are not banned from playing the Champions League or any competition for a while.

For Barcelona, I don’t know the reason for the fine, they have battling financial problems for a while which has restrict them from signing players, now they are fined again; I don’t know the reason for this but I don’t think it is fair for them.

For other teams in the list, I don’t know about their financial situation and how they signed their players, but I am surprised that Manchester City is not in this list; although they still have their case in court.
