So, let's air it out. What was the most idiotic, unhinged, completely delusional thing you truly believed about trading when you were a rookie?

One of the most unrealistic decision I have made about trading is that if I come into trading, I won’t be taking much long time like others before hitting the jackpot, I feel I won’t spend more than a year without becoming profitable. But this was all untrue and since the moment I started encountering losses, I became very fearful, more sceptical and have this fear of losing everything without been able to fuel my ambitions in trading again.

I got to realise that trading demo never had any effect in my trading journey and I only enjoy trading only when I’m using a real account and due to lack of funds, I easily get distracted and fear not losing everything and not be able to fund my account to trade again. That made me not to continue to learn when I have no money to fund and I only open the market when I have funds to fund. This has made me not consistent in learning about trading and has made me stayed longer that when I expected to be profitable. It is not really an easy ride and I now know more why people don’t become profitable so soon in trading.
