It is even not having SSL/TLS certificate which would be one of the reasons I can not click on it.

Not advisable to go further but just avoid the links.

I definitely know that you do not know the person which causesd the suspicion andyou are right about it. I also would have just avoided the person. If the link is a file, it is a malware.
Wow, great to know about it, I just found out how important it is to know what you mentioned. In essence, a site that has an https connection and has a trusted ssl certificate is for the security of each other between users and site owners, one of which is also securing all communications encrypted, so for example if there is an attack on the connection, user data will remain safe, this I just learned from the following reference: Google Chrome to display "Not Secure" warning for websites without SSL

It seems that OP uses Google Chrome, so Chrome automatically displays a warning to avoid the site, and it turns out that this has started since 2018, based on the information I got from the reference above too.
