If you're going to promote something, you need to do the bare minimum of ensuring that it is legit (not a scam) and you can promote my without any repercussions. That's something most (if not all) influencers skip. There's always zero due diligence and it's just a case of garbage in, garbage out as long as they get to receive their payments.

Usually yes, but not all people think in the same way. Unfortunately, some streamers or YouTubers will promote anything no matter what, just for the sake of money. A reputable influencer who respects himself and his fans will do some research to ensure that the products or service they're advertising is legit, but a decent amount doesn't work that way. The streamer in this case might have known it himself that the casino wasn't licensed, but he might have been receiving a commission from the people signed up under him.
