Questions about questions ... ?
Always a lot of hot air being spread by @Hatchet.
Has there actually been a success story in the last four years that confirms @Hatchet's arguments?
Which people make up the current core team?
Why is a lot of information not updated ?
Why is this not openly communicated ?
If this is not published or updated, is NEM/SYMBOL a fun chain of @Hatchet or just a private chain of @Hatchet who has no interest in community ?
The pressure to sell does not really come from the node operators. This is complete nonsense.
But even back then this was a hypocritical argument to cut the node reward.
@Hatchet has simply turned XEM/XYM into a worthless pump and dump coin.
Even the bug chain now uses a different option. .........
But we know this from NEM times. The projects start here, but then decide to take a different route ....
what a shame
Nevertheless, we will try to catch the thread of the constructive.
The problem is not in @Hatchet herself, but she has concentrated negative attention at himself. The problem is the lack of common project management and the absence of contact with the outside world. The project is cooked in a narrow circle of specialists, without releasing any regular information. This is a black hole with powerful energy, but not a single ray of light seeps out. A rare byte of information will go out.
@Hatchet is a special case of the problem of communications of the developers team with the outside world. Perhaps she is a good programmer (there is also no information about this), but she obviously does not know how to engage in project management and does not want to; "
i back into my hole..." If she is a good specialist, and she can even be a good technical manager, then let her continue his productive participation. But as a common manager she is zero, and she does not know how to talk with people (I saw this on Twitter). Here you have to be a bit politician. The manager's place is vacant. There should be a project manager or better several people with competence. Who should solve this issue? I think Jaguar and Gimre can solve the issue. Who except them? Information is absent.
There must be a balance between technical and general management work. It may seem that the developer team neglects the community of users (in the broad sense, holders, including), but they are more than 100% busy with their own deals, this is a hard and giant work, and they have no time to be managers. They must delegate this part of the work to someone. If @Hatchet is fully engaged in development, then she can no longer have the functions of the manager. Do one thing but good. The project should have a manager. There are funds to pay for his work and this must be done. It is necessary to resume communication with the outside world.
-
Inform the general public about current work, roadmap, goals
- I would like to at least occasionally see the presence of core developers on Bitcointalk (they have accounts)
- To resume at least one available forum for the wide community without censorship or with minimal censorship (there used to be an excellent forum, it is now obvious that it was the best; but then it was closed and another forum appeared, worse and clumsy, which was also closed for some reason), twitter discord telegram pigeon mail are unsuitable for this purpose.
Upbit said the same, although it was possible to do this in a different form. As a result, a great and flawlessly working NEM project eventually received a vile blow in the form of delisting. However, upbit give a shit on everyone, they have their own hole. As it usually happens, for the safety of the population, there was a confiscation of population funds. The developers also suffered, having good steaks in reserve.
All of the above applies the same way to NEM and Symbol.
