So the question is, can we still call that luck? Or is that already skill at work?
From my real-life experience, I have seen people become owners of cars and apartments overnight by gambling, and within a week, I have seen the same person thrown onto the streets, picking up cigarettes to smoke. That’s why gambling can never be called a skill, and skill can never be called gambling.
A small number of people do have the necessary skills that allow them to make money from gambling, and they engage in gambling professionally. For example, professional poker players, blackjack players, or bettors. The rest of the majority of gamblers will never be able to acquire such skills, so they can only be satisfied with winnings that depend not so much on skill as on a random combination of circumstances.
