There is a reason they chose to wager on slots, paired with a high deposit. Knowing people most likely lose plenty of their deposit they can afford to sponsor a big price pool.
Casinopunkz.io is not making any money from these contests. If any such intentions were there, the wagering requirement would have been 35x-40x, as elsewhere. It is just that any event has to be sustainable for both parties in order to have a long-term commitment. As I have said, this is still very profitable (I am sure we will see that after the tournament, as we already have 7 entries so early), but I respect your opinion that it is not profitable enough for you.
You have always played a proactive role in organising all poker events, and it would be very foolish of me not to acknowledge your apprehensions/suggestions. For now, the terms for this event are already fixed.
I still hope that we will see a strong player like you (although many will be praying otherwise for competition related reasons
