milan is investing a lot, but let's say they lost excellent players, Reijnders and Theo Hernandez. so they urgently need to restructure the team. they changed coach by bringing in a very prepared and winning coach. they have the conditions to be able to do well this season! I don't think they will be able to fight for the scudetto right away but if the project is long term they could succeed as early as next year
Say you're gloating, like me, our Milan cousins are going through a bad time, obviously i would have preferred to beat them if they were strong, so they have no excuses to say they are a disaster and have changed many coaches.
