The truth is that spirituality is a very difficult thing to explain and can only be understood by those who have faith in it. Not only with gambling but also with many serious, incurable diseases...even modern medicine is powerless, but sometimes spirituality inexplicably heals them.
Likewise, gambling addiction really has nothing to do with spirituality and according to science, addicts need to be treated by going to professionals, rehab centers...But for people who believe in spirituality, there is nothing wrong with wanting to overcome their gambling addiction that way and I believe in that too, because I believe in spirituality.
I will also add that spirituality can be very powerful for healing but it is usually part of the healing solution, not actually the whole solution. If there is any one that is struggling with a gambling addiction, we should encourage them to accept spiritual growth and seek professional help. Because there is absolutely no shame in using every available tool for healing.
