I was one of those that doubted Vincent Kompany couldn't handle the situation at Bayern Munich because of his experience and past performance at Burnley, but I was surprised and happy how Vincent Kompany did what coaches who have gained a lot of experience and coach big clubs fail to do at Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich is totally a different club in the hands of Vincent Kompany, and I believe Vincent Kompany will help Bayern Munich regain their full dominance in the Bundesliga as long as he's Bayern Munich's head coach, and I see Bayern Munich performing much better next season in the UEFA Champions League.
How, how are they any different? They are doing exactly how they have done for a long time. I hate this, and I have mentioned it a dozen times already, maybe more. Kompany didn't do anything you or I can't do, he just took the best club, and made them finish first, it is not a shocker to finish as the first team in standings when you are the best team in a league, and that's what they did, this isn't an achievement at all.
I guarantee you, you could have brought in ANY manager from premier league, or any other Bundesliga team, and they would have done at least as good as Kompany did, maybe better. I hate it when people praise him for doing something that isn't really that much of a success given the team is the best team in that league.
