Saudi clubs are playing in international tournaments with financial backing  that is true, but money is not their only strength.
In the recent Club World Cup, Al Hilal defeated Manchester City 4-3. This was the first time an Asian club had won a FIFA tournament against a European team the biggest shock.
Marcos Leonardo’s brilliant performance and the emergence of Inzaghi in the tactics were one of the reasons for this success.
