Musiala could be out of the whole season for the next competition or perhaps up towards the end of next season because his injury has to do with the bones. I think this will now force Bayern to get back to the transfer market and sought for his replacement to cover for his absence till his possible recovery.

Lucky for Kompany this had to happen while the market transfer window is still open. And he can look for a talent player to fill the vacuum. They have the funds and can will the magic wand as soon as possible. If this had happened after a window close then we would have had so much to worry about Bayern's performance in the season.
