Rather what will be the faith of altcoins if bitcoin remains stagnant?
Its the other way round, people trust bitcoin and not altcoins, unless you are being fed by some shill with bullshit. Bitcoin has been the coin from which many altcoins have tried to copy and compete but failed eventually.
Altcoins should be more grateful that bitcoin still has value and still hold its ground than any other coin in the crypto market, or else most of the altcoins if not all could have crumbled today. No matter how many times this season comes (it is called altcoin season), it will not have anything to do with bitcoin position and nothing will happen to bitcoin and will continue to progress has it has been for a long time now.
I never understood the idea behind the altcoin season, it is more easy to stay in bitcoin 100% and you lose less sleep over it.
I know some of the forum members here are into altcoins, but I still feel they would do much better in trading bitcoin.
