With how advanced these scammers are getting, it's getting scarier every day to even share the same device you use for your wallet transactions on gadgets you use to visit the internet every day because some of these extensions being clones of a popular one can easily be mistaken and installed without knowing the danger that lies ahead. Even if the user is making use of a cold wallet, it's still not entirely safe to connect it to an infected device.

Hackers would never stop advancing their hacking and scamming techniques because they want to be current and also hit the jackpot.  Every minute, they are advancing, as they believe their tricks are getting obsolete, so they go the extra mile in upgrading their skills, so they don't miss out.

The only thing I think is necessary to do is to be updated with information and to constantly upgrade your devices, because that is another lapse through which they penetrate their victims and do away with their funds and assets.

Yes you're right Ronsbit that staying informed and upgrading regularly your devices is essential to avoid most threats, but Nwada001 is also right when he says that it is getting more and more scary to use the same device for your daily use and for crypto wallets and transactions. As attacks get more and more sophisticated, data leaks are ubiquitous, and -I won't say zero day exploits, but- dangerous early vulnerabilities and malware tools are easyer to know than ever by script kiddies, the more I think that I should get a differentiated device for everything related to crypto.
