On the other hand, Bangladesh's spin department was successful, especially Tanvir Islam who took a record 5 wickets in his 2nd match of his ODI career. The most surprising thing was Shamim Hossain's bowling. I know him personally as a batsman, but he also did great with the ball today.
These days I see Bangladeshi players suddenly turning the tide of the match because today an irregular player has played a huge role for Bangladesh. For now, this is a consolation for Bangladesh. Also in today's match, the Sri Lankan batsman scored the fastest fifty in men's ODIs at this venue. Overall it must be said that the collapse of Sri Lanka's middle order determined the outcome for Bangladesh in this match it is even true that the hero of this episode was Tanvir Islam. According to my opinion Shamim Hossain in particular should be commended for his accuracy and trajectory also Bangladesh will get credit because they used the conditions correctly.

Bangladesh team worked hard to win this match, Bangladesh team attacked more with bowling line than batting. Especially Sri Lanka team's top attacking batsmen Tanvir Islam, Tanjim Hasan Shakib, and Mehedi Meraj, all of them bowled quite aggressively. Sri Lanka team lost due to pressure on Sri Lanka team from the beginning due to wicket pressure at the last moment. In today's game, I am quite calm towards Bangladesh team because they have won the hearts of Bangladesh team fans by performing well enough.
There is one more thing, if Bangladesh team can win this match, Bangladesh team can win the ODI series, so Bangladesh team must see the upcoming match as a challenge and win.

Bangladesh secured a 16-run victory over Sri Lanka in the second ODI. Bangladesh lost badly to Sri Lanka in the first match but came back in the second ODI to keep their dream of winning the series alive. Even though Bangladesh defeated Sri Lanka by 16 runs, the margin of victory could have been much greater. Most likely, when I saw 180 to 190 runs on the Sri Lankan scoreboard, Sri Lanka had 8 wickets, from there Sri Lanka took their runs to a better level and at one point it seemed that Bangladesh might come very close to losing this match again but in the end the victory went to Bangladesh. Now the fans of both the countries are just waiting for the result of the third ODI match. Whichever team wins the third ODI match will win the series.

In the first two matches, neither team could take their score close to 300 runs.  Scoring 250+ runs is not a big deal in current ODI cricket, so I would expect the team batting first to at least score 300+ runs.
