Just imagine how a coach deals with several key players getting injured and it is very impossible. Last season Madrid lost many injured players and some players were also often injured which had a bad impact on the team's performance. Like Carvajal who had a long injury while he was one of the best defenders Madrid had. On the one hand, Ancelotti last season only focused on maintaining the attack line without looking for reserve players to anticipate things like this from happening. I am very sure in the coming season you will see Madrid much better than last season.
Real Madrid are clearly looking for significant changes next season, they were too frugal in spending last season and they have given away so many titles that they could have won. Real Madrid are clearly looking for significant changes next season, they were too frugal last season and they have given up so many titles that they could have won. Bringing in 2 new defenders is the right response from Real Madrid to their poor performance last season, Trent Alexander Arnold and Dean Huijsen are the two new names in the defender position next season.

For next season, I think Real Madrid also need some strength in midfield after Luka Modric left. Of course Xabi can play an attacking midfielder like Bellingham, but Bellingham is not always good at playing in a position other than his natural position. A good midfielder needs to be brought in, I think that will be a big strength next season.
